The problem

You train hard.
You have no idea if it's working.

You finish a session sweating and satisfied. But did you sprint more than last week? Hit the ball harder? Favour your right foot the whole match? Nobody knows, so you keep repeating the same session and calling it progress.

Memory lies

Ask any player how many kicks they took in a match. The honest answer is "no idea." The real answer, from one prototype session, was 42.

Feeling ≠ intensity

"Tough session" usually means tired legs, not high output. Only one of those actually makes you better.

Imbalance goes unseen

Most amateurs massively over-use their strong foot and never notice, because nothing is counting.

How it works

Three steps. No coach required.

01

Strap it on

The sensor sits in a soft band around your ankle, above the sock line. It doesn't touch your boot, so it works with every pair you own, and you stop feeling it after about a minute.

02

Just play

A 6-axis IMU samples your motion continuously and logs the whole session on board. No phone in your pocket, no signal needed, nothing to press while you're on the pitch.

03

See the session

Afterwards it syncs over Bluetooth and the app breaks the session down: kicks, jumps, sprints, intensity zones, fatigue. Then it stacks that against everything you've played before.

What it measures

One real session,
broken all the way down.

Everything below is an actual training session recorded on the prototype: 48 minutes of finishing drills, 19 July.

01
Kicks & ball speed
Every strike counted, with an estimate of how fast the ball left your foot, derived from foot rotation (ω·r). Per-kick, so you can see your best and your average, not just a highlight.
02
Jumps & ground contact
Jump count, max height, and how long your foot stays on the ground. The number that quietly separates quick players from slow ones.
03
Sprints, bursts & distance
Steps, cadence, explosive bursts, distance covered and average speed across the whole session.
04
Direction changes
The most under-measured thing in amateur football. One prototype session logged 96 of them. That is the kind of load no step-counter will ever show you.
05
Intensity zones & fatigue
How your 48 minutes actually split between idle, walking and running, plus a fatigue read from how your output decays across the session.
06
Session dynamics
A minute-by-minute intensity curve. Find the point where you dropped off, then go fix it.

We show our error bars. Ball speed is estimated from foot rotation, not measured directly, so we print ±10-15% next to it instead of hiding it. Every number on this page comes from a real recorded session.

XP from everything you do
10 XP per kilometre, 2 XP per kick, 5 XP per jump, 50 XP just for turning up. Each level costs 3 000 XP more than the last, so the higher you climb the more the grind means.
02
Five ratings that move
Shot power, endurance, explosiveness, agility and jump. All calculated from sensor data, not from a quiz you filled in. Train the weak one and watch the bar climb.
03
Records worth chasing
Your strongest shot, highest jump, peak cadence, longest session. The app tells you the moment you beat one.
04
Badges that unlock
10 sessions in a row. A shot over 20 g. 1000 kicks tracked. Small goals that keep you coming back on the days you'd rather not.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Do I need to carry my phone while playing?

No. The sensor records the whole session on board and syncs over Bluetooth afterwards. Leave your phone in your bag.

How accurate is the ball speed?

It's an estimate, not a direct measurement. We derive it from the rotation of your foot at contact (ω·r), which lands within roughly ±10-15%. That's good enough to track your own progress session to session, and we print the margin next to the number rather than hiding it. If you need lab-grade ball speed, you need a radar gun, not a wearable.

Will it work with my boots?

Yes, all of them. The sensor sits on an ankle band above the sock and never touches your footwear, so grass boots, turf shoes and futsal trainers all work with zero setup change.

Why is there a subscription?

The $12/mo covers the app, session storage and ongoing model improvements. The accuracy of your kick and jump detection genuinely improves over time as we train on more data. If you cancel, the device keeps recording and you keep every session you've already exported. We're not going to pretend the sensor is useful without software behind it, but we're also not going to hold your history hostage.

Is this for kids?

The strap adjusts down to youth sizes and there's nothing sharp or heavy in the design. Most of our prototype testers are adult amateurs, so that's who we've tuned it for so far.

What happens if the first batch is delayed?

We email you, and you decide. You haven't paid anything yet. Pre-orders are charged on dispatch, so a delay costs you nothing but patience. We'd rather tell you late than ship you something half-finished.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. CSV export of every session, including the raw metrics. It's your training, it's your data.
